Paw damage for a dog can be a serious, even crippling problem. And it's so easy to scrape or cut a paw on broken glass, stones, or sharp surfaces. Especially now, with the toxic chemicals they put on our roads and lawn, dogs need shoes.
Even a small cut on a dog's foot can get infected and cause a pet to lose his mobility -- requiring veterinary attention and possibly even a dog wheelchair. Pet Boots from PetBoots.com can:
- Prevent Damage to a Dog's Paws
- Keep a pet's feet from being cut by broken glass on lawns and roads
- Save a dog from the pain of hot asphalt
- Keep toxic chemicals from getting lodged between the pads of a dog's feet
- Keep Bandages clean and dry
- Help a dog walk on slippery wooden floors
- Stop a dog from licking or chewing on his or her paws
- Help you avoid cleaning your dogs paws when he comes in from the mud

Hello,
We just wanted you to know the exchanged Protective boot arrived today (had to exchange the size large for another size medium). We can't say enough about these protective boots - they are terrific! Our 10-year-old greyhound, Turbo, doesn't mind wearing it at all on her wounded foot, especially in her snow-packed yard in Illinois! It's wonderful because it is waterproof to protect her wound dressing and also gives her stability when she goes out in this crummy, cold, snowy, wet weather. She waits patiently at the door to get it on and then goes outside to potty and on a rare clear day here, she will saunter around her whole yard leisurely and comfortably thanks to her protective boot. Great to say that her wound is healing nicely now and hopefully she will only have to wear the boot outside another couple weeks or so.
Thank you again for this wonderful product and your excellent and prompt service. Also, thank you for answering our questions on the sizing before we ordered, we really appreciate your kindness and help. We are so happy with the boot and we know that Turbo is very happy with it, too. Please know that we will certainly tell friends about this wonderful product!
Sincerely,
Cindy and Leo

At PetBoots.com, we are Dog Boot Professionals. Through our affiliation with HandicappedPets.com, we have access to thousands of comments and reviews about boots of all kinds; which dog boots wear out, which pet shoes stay on the best, which booties are the best value. Our video, available on this site, discusses different kinds of pet boots and how to choose between them.
There are four types of boots we have researched and made available on this site;
Standard Dog Boots,
High Performance Dog Boots,
Protective Dog Boots and
Full Feature Dog Boots.
These pet boots (as well as any boots or shoes for human or animal) are not intended to provide traction on ice, but rather as a protection against the effects of ice on the pet's paws. In order to be stable on ice, metal spikes (on human boots/shoes) are needed. Similarly, your dog may be better equipped for ice using his toenails for traction.
